Who we are

SwiftBeez is a digital agency based in Los Angeles, California. We design and build websites and apps and help businesses get found online. You can reach us at contact@swiftbeez.com. "We", "us" and "our" mean SwiftBeez. "You" means the person or business we work with or who visits this site.

Services

We offer website design and development, eCommerce stores, web apps, mobile apps, branding and digital marketing. These are not a fixed catalogue with fixed prices. We scope and quote each project on its own, based on what you need.

Quotes and scope

A quote covers the scope written in it, and nothing more. Submitting a form on this site does not create a contract. A project begins when you accept a quote in writing. Work outside the agreed scope is a new quote.

Payments

Our usual arrangement is half of the project fee before work starts and the other half when the project launches. We can agree a different split with you, and if we do, it will be written in your quote. Prices are quoted in US dollars.

If an invoice is paid late, we may pause work until it is settled and move the timeline to match. The quote sets the due date for each payment. We may not hand over the final work until you have paid in full.

Revisions and change requests

Your quote states how many rounds of revisions it includes. A revision means changes to work that is already in scope. A change request is something new, such as an extra page or feature. We will tell you what a change request adds to the cost and timeline before we start on it.

What we need from you

We need your content, images, brand assets and approvals on time. We also need access to any accounts the project depends on. When these arrive late, the timeline moves by about the same amount, and we may need to reschedule our team.

Timelines

Any timeline we give you is an estimate made in good faith. It is not a guarantee. Delays in feedback, content or third-party services can move it, and we will tell you as soon as we see that happening.

After launch

We fix bugs in the work we delivered for 30 days after launch at no charge. After that, ongoing support is available on a care plan at $200 per month. Your quote will say if your project is on different terms.

Intellectual property

Once you have paid in full, you own the work we delivered to you. We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, code libraries and methods, including any we used to build your project. You get a licence to use them as part of the finished work.

Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may show the finished work in our portfolio and describe it in our own marketing.

Third-party services

Hosting, domain names, plugins, themes, fonts, stock images and APIs come from other companies. Their own licences and terms govern them, and their fees are yours to pay. We will tell you about the ones your project needs. We are not responsible for changes those companies make to their prices or services.

Confidentiality

Each of us agrees to keep the other's non-public information private and to use it only for the project. This does not cover information that is already public, or that we must disclose by law. If you need a formal NDA, ask us before you share sensitive details.

Warranties and disclaimers

We do our work with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, this website and our deliverables are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic level, ad result, sales figure or conversion rate. Search engines and ad platforms change their rules without notice, and results depend on many things we do not control. Any number we mention is an estimate, not a promise.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost business or indirect losses. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply only where the law permits.

Termination

Either of us may end a project by giving the other written notice. You will pay for the work completed up to the date of notice, and for any costs we have already committed to on your behalf. We will hand over what has been paid for.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. A change does not affect a quote you have already accepted. The version on this page is always the current one.
